  6. Roleplay Project · Official Announcement Community Newsletter - August 2026 Hello members! This is the first of many monthly community newsletters that will be released. Within this, you will find some quick updates from around the community, including but not limited to; Overall Community Progress Staff Team Updates Development Team Updates / Major Features Changelog Monthly Analytics We here at Roleplay Project believe in complete transparency as well as community involvement. With that being said, we felt it was absolutely vital to begin these monthly newsletters to not only keep you, the players, in the loop, but also keep ourselves accountable. ⓘ Community Progression For launch month, we here at Roleplay Project could not be much happier with community progression. Multiple members joining daily, conversing in community channels, and of course, playing in game. We’re at 200+ registered members, and the number grows daily! Less than 1 month removed from launch, and we’re right where we want to be. We would also like to unveil the creation of our Community Engagement Team! This will be a talented group of individuals that will be responsible for.. you guessed it, Community Engagement. Events, Promotion, Content Creation, you name it. If you think this sounds like something that would suit you, please reach out to @Polle or @Luminin. ⌨ Staff Team Update from Luminin A ton has happened within the past month within the Roleplay Project Staff Team. As most of you know, movement within a team doesn't necessarily signal anything bad, just that sometimes things don't exactly go as planned or certain individuals' priorities change - and that's okay. We expect it, we plan for it, and we continue moving. On another hand, we also strive for excellence, and some members of the team have been as close as you can get, so we'd like to shine light on those individuals as well. Movement Log [7/1/2026-8/1/2026] @Luminin promoted to Management. @Picky successfully passed the Trial Admin stage and promoted to Administrator. @Refik98 successfully passed the Trial Admin stage and promoted to Administrator. @Kriegsprinzessin successfully passed the Trial Admin stage and promoted to Administrator. @koso reinstated as an Administrator. @consistency joined the team as a Trial Admin. @maf joined the team as a Trial Admin. @Furkan joined the team as a Trial Admin. I'd like to extend a personal congratulations to each and every one of these dedicated individuals, their hard work and dedication does not go unnoticed, and that stands for the whole Roleplay Project team! ✔ Development Update from Java We’ve been battling a few stubborn mod issues over the past couple of days, but I’m happy to report that things have now stabilised. Looking ahead, I’ve got an upcoming feature scheduled for deployment this weekend that I think a lot of you will be looking forward to: Action / Animation + Weapon Wheel. More details and a proper showcase will follow once it’s live. Huge shoutout to the entire staff team while I’m at it. These guys have been absolute legends, keeping everything running smooth and making the whole process a lot more enjoyable. Grateful to work alongside such a solid team! Stay tuned. ✉ LFM Update from Kaos July has been an incredibly productive month for Legal Faction Management and we’d like to take a moment to recognize the progress that has been made across our legal roleplay environment. One of the biggest milestones was the release of our initial Legal Faction Rules. While these serve as a foundation, they are by no means final. As the community continues to grow and evolve, these rules will be reviewed, refined and expanded to ensure they continue to support fair, enjoyable, and high-quality roleplay for everyone. We’ve also seen significant movement within our legal factions. We’d like to welcome the new leadership of the Los Santos Police Department and we look forward to working alongside them as they continue building and strengthening their department. At the same time, we’d like to welcome all of our newly approved factions to the community: - Supreme County of San Andreas - Los Santos County Sheriff’s Department - Pillbox Hill Medical Center - The Roux Network - Guardian Towing We can’t wait to see the stories, roleplay, and experiences each of you brings to the server. As part of our ongoing efforts to maintain a healthy and active faction environment, we’ve also made the difficult decision to close a few factions to reform the legal faction scene. While these decisions are never easy, they are necessary to ensure opportunities remain available for new ideas, new leaders, and continued community growth. Those factions are: - San Andreas Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (SanFire) - San Andreas Highway Patrol While these factions were closed, that does not mean they can’t come back in the future!! Over the past month, LFM has also focused heavily on establishing clearer expectations through updated jurisdiction policies, standardized faction procedures, and improved communication between faction leadership and management. These changes are designed to create consistency while giving each faction the tools they need to succeed. Finally, we’d like to thank every faction leader, command member, and player who has worked with us throughout this first month. Building a legal roleplay environment from the ground up is no small task, but thanks to your feedback, patience, and dedication, we’re already seeing tremendous progress. We’re excited for what August has in store, and as always, our door remains open for feedback, suggestions, and ideas that help improve the community. ✂ IFM Update from Koso We are happy to announce that Starter Packages are now open for requests. If you are looking to open an illegal faction or have recently had one approved, you can now request a starter package through the IFM Discord to hit the ground running from day one. Starter packages are designed to give your faction an early boost, pretty much, enough to get meaningful RP going from the start without having to wait for full distributor or strawman applications, as those will open at a later stage. To request your starter package, simply open a ticket in the IFM discord & our team will get back to you. We encourage all faction leaders to take advantage of this early on, the stronger your foundation from the start, the better you will be when full resources access applications open down the line. It also helps you on the character/faction development. More updates from IFM coming soon! Community SPotlight + Giveaway winners! As you know, we have an ongoing gallery competition! We have decided to extend it by 1 week (now ends August 8th, 2026) because this content may be used in upcoming promotional content for RPP! On another note, the winners of the Nitro giveaway are @High and @Furkan! Please contact me for your prizes!! ⓘ Closing notes from Server Management In all, July was very successful. From server launch, to new faces in staff and the community, and to monumental development progress - we usher in a new month with a sense of hope and determination. We thank every member who has planted a seed here thus far, and we will do our best to ensure it grows! Thank you for reading! roleplayproject.netSigned, the Project Team
  7. If anything, it would make more sense to burn less fuel highway driving. You use significantly less fuel when you’re not accelerating constantly etc. Anyways, totally agree, filling up my bike 10 times a day is a bit aggressive.
  8. Forwarded to our Head of Economy. Thank you.
  9. My logic is similar to yours, except just give the phones large batteries and fast charge times. If you’re driving for a couple of minutes, you’ll be charged up and if you go days without charging, you’ll have to charge up. I think the current battery cycle on them is a bit too much, so I think when it’s more of an afterthought and an “oh crap!” Instead of an “I have to charge AGAIN!?” It might go over a bit better.

Maybe it could be when over a certain speed it won’t allow you to exit without manually pressing. Anyways, +1 on the sound. Or at the very least make it more realistic, like beeps every 30 seconds or so.
  11. A new animation system is being added. Locking this for now.

  13. Eastside Bishops The E/S Bishops are a loosely-affiliated, loose hierarchy group of young, predominately African-American males based in Southeast Los Santos, primarily roaming the Rancho / Davis neighborhoods. The group's main intention is to dominate the neighborhood, and make a quick buck in any way possible. As loose as they are in hierarchy, they're tight-knit and can be seen frequenting locations around Southeast Los Santos together, hanging around or working blocks to make a buck. They frequently engage in crime ranging from Armed Robbery, Assault, and Grand Theft to Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Murder. Most of the boys are second generation bangers, either directly or in-directly following bad influences involved their lives. This is all they know, and it's a dangerous lifestyle centered around devious, heinous, and sometimes outrageous actions.
