Community Newsletter - October 2026

Hello again, everyone!
We are excited to present you with the newest installment to our monthly newsletters. The month of September was a great success, and it wouldn't have been possible without all of you. Since I've got you here, and since I think It's important to state, without too much elaboration...

Roleplay Project is now in Blaine County!

We invite you to come and check out what we're doing out in Paleto Bay. It's lively, it's fun, and roleplay opportunities are plenty, even if you have doubts. Join us and see for yourself!

Community Update + Spotlight

In terms of community development, September was great! Slightly less signups compared to other months at 55, but much higher retention rate, at 45% of players registered in the month of September logging in and playing intermittently but consistently, which is by far the best rate we've had thus far. This shows major improvement not just in gaining new registered players, but those players actually involving themselves in the community.

Starting this month, I will be shouting out the most active player in the last 30 days and will be rewarding them with a random prize... could even be a gift card, so be sure to join us over the next 30 days for a chance to be the leader! (Staff is excluded from this, as we will have our own competitions internally - for fairness.)

The most active player in the last 30 days was...... @Raisinbrand!

In addition, we are still working valiantly to continue to bolster our presence across various platforms - stay tuned for more media produced by the Roleplay Project team, and feel free to create your own, too!

Development Update

For this section - we're going to do it a little different.

To truly understand how hard our developers, @java and @MelonDisrupt have been working... click here and scroll up for a bit. This last month has been absolutely fantastic, and the amount of work that has gone into making things not only functional, but downright sensational, is astounding. Bravo. I'll leave it at that.

LFM Update

To keep this short and sweet, and to explain exactly what the Legal Faction Management (LFM) team is up to...

  • Los Santos County Sheriff's Department will now be known as Blaine County Sheriff's Office

  • Los Santos Fire Department will now be known as Blaine County Fire Department

  • LSPD has been disbanded (for now), as a result of the move to the county.

  • SADFW has been established as a part of our mission to make the county feel alive, both in town and out in nature - a compliment to the new hunting and fishing reworks.

  • San Andreas Highway Patrol is back - and better than ever. The primary LEA will still be BCSO, but don't be surprised if you see a few State Troopers rolling about.

With those changes, we will be working tirelessly to bring new mods (vehicle, clothing, etc) to ensure ALL of these factions have immersive and accurate equipment to preform their duties daily, in style. LFM will be assisting these factions tirelessly to ensure the smoothest of transitions. We are all collectively very excited to enact these changes, and we do feel as if every single one of these changes will bring something new and exciting to the community.

IFM Update

  • The Illegal Faction Management (IFM) team has recently updated the Rules of Engagement (ROE) to provide clearer guidelines surrounding faction conflicts, attack regulations, and cool-downs. We encourage all faction leaders and members to familiarize themselves with the revised rules to ensure fair and consistent roleplay across the server.

  • Server-wide strawmen role caps have been introduced as follows:

    • Weapons: Five (5) roles.

    • Weapon Attachments: Two (2) roles.

    • Narcotics: Five (5) roles.

These limits apply universally, regardless of whether you operate as part of a faction or independently as a solo player. No distinction is made between the two when enforcing these caps. This is subject to change depending on the server requirements. Further information can be found here.

  • More information on what items are available for strawmen and distributor roles are mentioned in the resource access thread.

Closing Notes

In totality, September was awesome! The recent changes of moving out to the county, the roleplay, the fantastic development progression throughout all of our services, the new faces we've seen, and the consistent 10-15 players a day at various times is a giant step in the right direction. This truly wouldn't be possible without everyone, so from the bottom of our hearts, thank you, and it's only up from here! ❤️
