MelonDisrupt Posted July 9 Posted July 9 (edited) Hi, We've recently made a lot of changes to the Legion Square area. These changes will not all stick, and we're open to feedback. Please leave feedback below, ensuring it's constructive and not just "I don't like it" to help us determine what stays, what doesn't, etc. Constructive disagreements, etc are permitted. We added everything, with the intentions of gathering feedback, not as a full feature update. We know some of them are unrealistic, and happy to accept feedback on all. I want to make clear, they are not permanent changes. Thanks in advance! Edited July 9 by MelonDisrupt 1
Musiceith Posted July 9 Posted July 9 I personally think it's good. The game's been around for quite some years, adding different elements to the mappings/surroundings give a different mood and of course, some spice to experience. 2
Jones Posted July 9 Posted July 9 (edited) Hey there - So to start off, I'm not really in favor of the new Legion Square for the following; 1- Performance; I've experienced FPS drops repeatedly when going through Legion Square. 2- Vibe: The Legion Square we have right now, doesn't really fit the vibe; it's cool, but this is something you'd see in a Dubai'esque Dystopia rather than U.S infrastructure. It feels so out of place, same with the current LSPD station. 3- The 2013 unfinished construction site can be used for the High Mile Club, ensuring the old Downtown buildings remain and at the same time have some modernity in there. Jorgensen Posted July 9 Posted July 9 I'm agreeing with Jones and tbh, it looks out of place. But, def more something Dubai fitting. It looks futuristic and ehhhh... Not it. I like Jones have Vibe, performance, realism and (I'm sure it'll return to me when I'm caffeinated) concerns (From a modders POV ofc) and yeah, I linked a more fitting to do the 2013 construction site. https://forum.cfx.re/t/map-rags-riches-v1-5-4-1-featuring-the-mile-high-club/4778991 1
Parzival Posted July 9 Posted July 9 I'm very much in favor of adding new models/mappings in the environment, but this building is very futuristic and as others have commented and I must echo, that its more befitting Dubai than LS. I haven't managed to check it out if I'm getting any FPS drop (will do later) 3
Voltage256 Posted July 9 Posted July 9 I also have to agree with Jones here. Everything there kind of looks out of place, especially the giant building there that sticks out like a sore thumb, imo and looks like a hazard. If I saw that building irl I would go out of my way to find ways around it. 2
maf Posted July 9 Posted July 9 I personally like the buildings and the parks around. I agree that the "older" looking MRS was better. But I like the parks. As for the skyscraper. I know they are getting time to used to, we are all used to the same panorama for over a decade. But I am open to new places and experiences, instaed of playing on same map forever. While I personally like the skyscrapers, I understand for some it might be too big step. But I'd love to keep the parks. 1

And as a result? Disrupts the rest of the metro routes. 2

MelonDisrupt Posted July 9 Author Posted July 9 As far as I can see, this feedback is overwhelmingly against the MLO's so far, I really appreciate you all taking your time to check it out and provide the feedback. As a result, we are removing the packs and want to thank you all for your amazing and constructive feedback! 1 1
