August 29Aug 29 Community Newsletter - September 2026Hello again, everyone! We are excited to present you with the newest installment to our monthly newsletters. The month of August was a great success, and it wouldn't have been possible without all of you. Thank you, truly. From accomplishing a new peak player count, to the release of our first official trailer, August was one for the record books. Community SpotlightCommunity Engagement UpdateAugust was a strong month, capped off by the beach party early on, one of our biggest events yet, where we hit a new peak of 34 players. That energy set the tone for the changes since. The biggest one to mention right off the bat is that we've removed whitelisting from the server. Anyone can now connect and play without going through an application first. We want getting into this community to feel easy, not like a hurdle, because the people are what make this project worth being part of.We're also changing how suggestions are handled. The channel to share concerns, opinions and suggestions already exists, but starting today, every suggestion will be reviewed within 72 hours of posting with a final decision no later than 7 days later.September events are already in the works with CET, Administration, Development and Management working together to give players more chances to connect. But to be clear: events aren't the heart of this community. You are, and everything we're changing this month is about making more room for you, the community.— Community Engagement TeamStaff Team Update@Arcthorns has been added to the team as an Administrator.@Ormond has been added to the team as an Administrator.@Jordan has been added to the team as a Senior Administrator + Head of Modding.@Furkan has successfully completed their trial and been promoted to Administrator + Head of Property Management.Development UpdateDevelopment UpdateAugust was our busiest month yet on the development side, with 17 updates going live.Behind the scenes we added full language support to the server, which is what allows our Bosnian franchise to run on the same codebase as us. Everything we build here now reaches them too. On our own side, we rebuilt the login, character select and spawn screens into one flow, so getting into the city is smoother and a lot of long standing problems on the way in are gone.Clothing stores now show you a picture of every item before you buy it, rendered from your own character rather than a stock image. Property roleplay picked up peepholes, snake cameras and the ability to talk through a closed door, and Dynasty 8 renting, real estate and maps all moved onto your phone. For those on the other side of the law, drugs now carry a chemical signature that traces back to where they were cooked, evidence no longer sits waiting for a forensic technician to log on, and the chop shop opened its doors. Injuries also stay with your character properly instead of quietly resetting.Factions gained fleets, properties and decorating rights, companies gained fleets in /v, and the Farm Co-op took farming under its wing. On top of that we shipped the metro, turned home alarms into a business worth running, rebuilt the mechanic and mod panel, and worked through a long list of vehicle, money and workshop fixes.Thank you for every bug report and suggestion this month. A lot of the above started as someone taking the time to write one.September opens with a full rebuild of the clothing wardrobe and a tighter mask system, and there is plenty more on the way.— Development TeamLFM UpdateAugust has been another productive month for Legal Faction Management as we continue improving the legal faction environment and creating systems that support activity, accountability and meaningful roleplay. One of the biggest changes this month was restructuring how civilian factions are established. Moving forward, civilian organizations will generally begin through the company system before becoming an official faction. This gives groups time to establish themselves, demonstrate activity and leadership and show what they can contribute to the server.Once a company feels ready, they may apply for Legal Faction Status. This gives LFM an opportunity to review the company, its leadership, activity, and overall roleplay before granting official status. We highly recommend maintaining a company thread to document activity and showcase your roleplay which helps your LF Application. Our goal is to make official faction status something that is earned and meaningful. We’re also excited to welcome two new factions:Alphalon National LaboratoryWeazel NewsBoth bring unique opportunities for roleplay, and we look forward to seeing what they bring to the community.Faction requests have also returned to Discord. Faction leaders can now use the dedicated ticket system for requests involving vehicles, mapping, MLOs, equipment, development features, and other faction needs.Going into September, faction activity will be a major focus. A large roster does not necessarily mean a faction is active. Leadership is expected to encourage participation, create roleplay opportunities, attend community events, and maintain a visible presence within the server. We also want factions thinking beyond their own members. Every legal faction should contribute to the wider community and create opportunities for others to get involved.Throughout August, LFM continued reviewing faction policies, jurisdiction, procedures, and the overall structure of legal roleplay. The Legal Faction Rules remain a foundation and will continue to evolve alongside the community. As we move into September, our focus remains on strengthening existing factions, improving activity and communication, expanding inter-faction roleplay, and continuing to develop the company-to-faction system.Thank you to every faction leader, command member, company owner, and player who continues contributing to the legal roleplay environment. We’re excited to see what September brings.— Legal Faction Management TeamIFM UpdateThe illegal scene on RPP is starting to take shape and we wanted to take a moment to give everyone a clear picture of where things stand heading into fall/September.Here is where things currently stand:Chop Shop is live.
